The Book of Clouds
Published in Hardcover by Friedman/Fairfax Publishing (August, 2003)
Author: John A. Day
Average review score:

A fine tribute to clouds by a veteran weatherman
The many photos making up the bulk of this book (some already seen on his popular website), are presented in a structured way that shows their features and beauty and significance. Dr John Day (know as cloudman) has been practising and teaching about meteorology for longer than most of us have been around. His text is brief, and his style is aimed both at beginners and those who already have some understanding and interest in weather. His chapter on the history of the naming of clouds make up the final section.

Boundaries with Kids Workbook
Published in Paperback by Zondervan (01 September, 1998)
Authors: John Sims Townsend, Henry, Dr Cloud, and Lisa Guest
Average review score:

Great book - suggestions easy to implement - very realistic
I got this book on audio tape because I travel a lot in my car. Out of the 5-6 books I have listened to over the past 3-4 months this was one of my favorites if not the favorite. Good suggestions, most easy to implement others harder because it is sometimes hard to let our kids learn some things on their own. I think using the principals in this book will help kids with their own confidence because they unterstand their own boundries better and will learn how staying wthin those boundries can be very rewarding and boost pride with the end result.

Castle Cloud

Author: E. Norman
Average review score:

What a great historical romance novel!
I have been searching for a copy of this book to no avail, only to discover it is now out of print. I am going to try and order it anyway (if Amazon can find me a copy of it!) as I have been wanting to re-read this book! I remember it well from my college years and was enticed to stay up quite a few nights in a row and forget the homework to read on! I remember the amazing Castle and heroine and I am dying to get my hands on this book! If you like historical romance with great descriptive writing, this book is for you!

Special poems for the heart!
I just love the blue mountain art poems, they are so inspiring, when I read this one from Douglas Pagels, I was impressed and again fell in love with another special poem book. I give this book as a gift from Meghan fund which sends gifts to those with recent loss of a baby and also to friends or family having a hard time in life. It has a wonderful cover with the pretty sunflower and great caring poems. I recommend this book to anyone having a difficult time in life as the inspiring poems are encouraging to your soul.

How to achieve peace and balance through ritual
Drawing on ancient wisdom and contemporary spirituality, this illustrated book provides a host of resources to link the reader with his or her own power and that of an ever-widening circle of women and peace makers. Included are chapters on honoring the Circle, making drums and rattles, making prayer bundles, ritual cleansing, music, dance, sacred acts, games, creating altars and other sacred spaces to include healing, visioning, manifesting dreams, storytelling, entertainment as high medicine, giving, and earth etiquette. This guide to ceremony is the outgrowth of medicine women gathering from around the world. Its text is augmented with words of wisdom from Alinta, Australian aboriginal medicine woman, the late Princess Moon Feathers, Cherokee centurian, Mahisha, Hawaiian elder, Grandmother Kitty, Seneca elder, the late Colonel Lyn Gunter of the U.S. Air Force, and many others. Dr. Scout Cloud Lee has captured her magical ability to lead people to their highest potential through ritual.

An incredible story of flight before the modern airplane, with an engineer, Robur, and the Weldon Institute. A story of lighter-than-air versus heavier-than-air travel, and it takes you all around the world, even over Antarctica.

Cloud 9 Affair
Published in Paperback by Rising Tide Pub (01 September, 1997)
Author: Katherine E. Kreuter
Average review score:

Delightful Trip to Cloud 9 - and Back
Thank you author Katherine Kreuter for a wonderful trip (sans passport)! The novel moves with a pace and rhythm which kept my mind on the move as well. The book took me on an entertaining trip which was geographical, psychological and dangerously mystery-laden. The author afforded me hours of happy summer reading - plus some chuckles and even some more serious thoughts. I shall await this author's future works with enthusiasm for her wit! Bon Voyage to say the least for those who appreciate interesting characters - and their foibles.
